Peace in the Middle East??!

The Palestinian tragedy did not start in December 2008 with the Israeli attack on Gaza. Nor did it start in June 2007 when the Israeli blockade on Gaza was tightened. It did not start in March 2006 when the US, EU and Israel boycotted the democratically elected government, adding to the already existing humanitarian crisis. It didn’t start in June 2006 with the capture of the precious Gilad Shalit. It didn’t even start in September 2000 when Ariel Sharon's actions triggered the second Intifada. Or in 1997, or in 1993, or in 1987, or in 1980, or in 1967. Or, or, or...

The ‘peace process’ also did not start in January 2009, when a bunch of Zionist supremacists and Arab hypocrites met and discussed the crisis. It didn’t start in 2005 at the Sharm ElSheikh Summit. It didn’t start in 2001 in Taba. Nor did it start in 2000 at Camp David. It didn’t even start in 1995 with the second Oslo agreement, or in 1993 with the first one for that matter. Or, or, or...

So although I would love to believe that a change is about to take place, and that this is the start of a new chapter in the Middle East, I dare not be so naive or optimistic.

As long as the State of Israel is run by Zionist barbarians with nothing but ethnic cleansing on their minds... As long as Israeli leaders publicly make statements such as “I am sorry with all my heart for the residents of Gaza, but the lives and well-being of Sderot’s residents are more important than those of Gaza residents.”... As long as Arab leaders are weak, and cowards, and traitors, and hypocrites... As long as personal interests come before the interests of the people... As long as an entire world can watch the wiping out of the Gazans for TWENTY TWO days before speaking out... We will never achieve a permanent ceasefire or an equal peace, and we will never see a new chapter in the Middle East.
