Holocaust to the power of 100

I must agree that the comparison of sixty years of Palestinian plight to the ‘Holocaust’ is an insult, to say the least. The facts and figures below can only be described as a colossal version of the ‘Holocaust’...

• Illegal occupation spanning over half a century
• Depopulation of over 400 Palestinian villages since 1948
• 6,000,000+ Palestinian refugees
• Displacement of 750,000 Palestinians (between 1947-49 only)
• 50% of Palestinian villages completely demolished
• Over 34 documented genocidal massacres
• Uncountable Palestinians killed since 1948 (13,000 in 1948; 15,000 in 1967; 30,000 in external refugee camps; 3,000 during the Intifadas etc)
• 80% of total deaths being civilians (estimated by Human Rights groups)
• Unjustified random abductions and exiles
• 10,000+ Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons
• Use of acknowledged torture methods based on “inflicting extreme physical pain and mental anguish without causing lasting or traceable physical injury” (affecting tens of thousands of Palestinians daily)
• Continual use of collective punishment
• Imposed sanctions resulting in humanitarian crises
• Denial of basic utilities including clean water, electricity etc.
• Village-wide curfews and barricades • Use of illegal ‘cluster bombs’ and ‘white phosphorus’ on civilians
• Construction of 150+ illegal Israeli settlements
• Setting up of 100+ unauthorized Israeli outposts
• Violation of the Geneva Convention
• Violation of the UN Security Council Resolutions
• Violation of the Hague Regulations
• And the list goes on with daily atrocities and acts of ethnic cleansing that have led to one of the greatest occurrences of Diaspora in our time...
